GOODBYE REPUBLICANS - HERE'S YOUR TERMINATION NOTICE

Hello and welcome to whomever of you may be gazing at my little blog today. And I would also like to extend a very special "Good Morning" to a fine old group of fellows out there. Good Morning Republican party. Good morning General Powell, Senator McCain, Mr. Steel, Senator Ridge, and the rest of you who have expressed reservations about being too critical of Judge Sotomayor for the position of Supreme Court Justice. We appreciate the service, the time, the effort you have given your grand old party. Now, if you will please open and read the letters you have just been handed we would greatly appreciate that. Please don't feel too badly.  It's simply that your services are no longer needed.  Please walk single file as you exit the stage, you will find transportation outside ready to take you permanently back to your private civilian lives. When, as a political party of alleged moral principle and opposition to the spread of the structural disease known as liberalism, it becomes a debate as to whether a debate should be made against the rise to power in the highest unchallengeable lifetime appointment in government a person whose proven rhetoric and body of work represents the antithesis of our foundational freedoms, it is time to clean out the house. When, as a political party founded on preservation of the essential moral and structural framework of the documents which gave rise to independence and freedom and self determination for our nation, the party itself can no longer see the enemy for who it is, it is time to clean out the house. It's so very plain that Liberals and those who call themselves "progressives" want to destroy the Republican party, it rather goes without saying. It's so crystal clear that Powell and the other self proclaimed moderates are the tools being used by enemies of Conservatism for that end. To listen to the lies... the perverse lies... from those who seek to destroy Republicans and more precisely destroy Conservatives... that they are trying to "SAVE" the Republican party is an insult that cuts to the heart of anyone with a scrap or more of intellect. And the thing is , we all know that this is what it's all about. The left wing media knows it, the liberal analysts know it, and the moderates know it. And yet we are treated to this fantasy theater of the likes of Powell clomping around on a media stage like pinnocchio, a useful idiotic puppet of the people who want to destroy the Republicans and he is a willing and happy mouthpiece for them. He sits there like a vetriloquist's dummy mouthing the words of the liberals who hate Republicans and want to dilute Conservatives out of existence as a power, which of course will put the final nail in the Republican coffin. Either Powell and his fantasy-weavers have an Obama-Complex and want to be lead by a Republican version of Obama, in which case if they succeed there is no more Party, or they are happily working to destroy the party principles that they desperately hate and their satisfaction will come from taking it down into the final flames of Hell where it appears is the only fire hot enough in their minds to purge the party of the sin of Conservatism.

With regard to recent dangerous actions of North Korea, just a thought... what if... China is using North Korea as a cover to test their own nuclear weapons technology? Given the provocative and radical nature of North Korea's leader why not let him be the front man and scapegoat for testing tht China wants to do? I'm not sure of that, it's just something that occurred to me as I was considering the situation. Anyway, the question I'm looking to have answered is will the Republicans come up with the right response, regardless of whether Obama will implement it. Republicans , according to liberals... ( and of course if we follow the "moderate approach" we must always view Republicans through the liberal lens..., ), are war mongering nuts. So, if Republicans as a party follow suit with Powell leading the way, they will want to "sit down" and "talk" with Kim Jong-il and try to convince him that this is a bad thing he's doing, like some sort of political version of the Jehovah's Witness but without the moral conviction of their beliefs. Instead of being strong on foreign policy and defense which is , or was..., something Republicans had a lock on..., they will kowtow to the pied piper of liberalism beause those Republicans who gaze through the liberal lens see their opportunity as being right now... with the election of Obama being thier proof that "they" are the type of leaders the country really wants. The right approach is to lead... lead the way by laying down the law, not talking but ordering North Korea to immediately cease or face immediate response. We CAN'T just sit here like a bunch of blithering dolts while that little pig Jong-il makes a mockery of US power. Faliure to bring the North Korean government under control, to allow them to mock us, is going to undermine the war on terror, and further deteriorate our effectiveness and image around the world. For God's sake..., our ALLIES are in the line of their fire. We need to have a US Navy battleship off the coast of North Korea and start doing some "test" firings of its cannons in the general direction of North Korea.

TEMPER TANTRUMS AND REVENGE FOR CLINTON

The businesses that took TARP funds and now are desperate to repay it, should have done a better risk assessment on what it means to take that TARP money in the first place. But what is infuriating to me, is that we are talking about money coming out of our wallets, money that doesn't even exist yet that will put future generations into debt, money that some institutions want to give back ... GIVE BACK... OUR MONEY...  but Obama and our wonderful Treasury Secretary are "refusing" to allow these businesses to pay it back. Even the most vile of loan sharks would be happy to get paid back the money they lent out. You know what this is? This is reverse extortsion. Instead of demanding money from these banks to "protect" them , Obama is demanding that they take money ... to make them complicit in the socialist schemes of an out of control regime. It's like the cop who doesn't want to take a payoff like other cops he heard about who have taken it and are now the slaves of the crooks who gave them the payoff, but they tell him he has no choice, take it or we make life hell for you.

Now, switching to another topic in the news..., we all know that President Obama should never have released the memos detailing interrogation techniques. CIA Directors past and present have said this was a very bad idea, to release these details and even had advised against it before hand. But Obama has an agenda that supersedes the safety of our country. It doesn't matter to him what people far more experienced and knowledgeable than him on this matter have to say, it doesn't matter to him that he has put a knife in the backs of the front line CIA operatives who were risking thier own safety to do what was needed to protect this country. It doesn't matter to him that all the men and women who died fighting terrorists have been stepped on by his personal prejudices and that this released information will set back the war on terror by increasing the boldness of organiztions like Al-Queda and Hamas and others who look at the United States as evil. Obama's agenda invloves poking his finger in the eye of George Bush and the past administration as much as he can to indulge his liberal extremeist propaganda and keep the left wing radicals who support him happy. Personally I don't want to see methods that work being removed from the potential tools that our CIA can use to obtain intelligence that will secure our county's safety. But that is not the position of President Obama. Still, if he felt he had to remove a set of interrogation options from the CIA .., he did not have to make the details available to the world. Instead, Obama could have conducted a very quiet review of the interrogation processes in use now and if Obama felt that methods were still out of line with legal definitions, then he could have instituted further adjustments to bring interrogation methods into line, adjustments that could have been applied quietly..., QUIETLY..., without fanfare, and without our enemies having any knowledge of any change, and if he felt the need to announce anything about it, he could very simply have said something like "I have reviewed the methods being employed and am convinced they are legal". Then he could have said that he would release information about past interrogations after a thorough threat assessment and determination as to whether it would pose harm to the nation. Then he simply could have kept the details under wraps for the forseeable future and that would have been a perfectly acceptable thing a president to do as allegedly the top man defending our country from harm. But for Obama the release of data about interrogations seems more like a game , or even moreso like a goat. Obama has been using President Bush as a goat for everything he wants to do that is the least bit controversial. I think he willingly released the information about interrogations as a way of keeping the Bush bashing alive so that he can perpetually use Bush as a rag to blot out his own socialist plans for the country domestically and abroad. Our freedoms as citizens of the US have not been damaged by the legally questionable methods employed in interrogation of captured terror suspects and known terrorists. The harsh methods which are debated as torture were employed as a last resort, and only in limited cases where CIA operatives were reasonably certain that the subject had information that could save our fellow citizen's lives. If anything, I would argue that these interrogations helped to assure that our freedoms were secured via the protection and insurance of our domestic tranquility, as is stated in the preamble to the Constitution as one of the reasons for establishment of the document itself. It's kind of funny, now, we're getting down into the mire of things like how many times being waterboarded is enough. It's one thing to debate if a process like waterboarding is torture, it's another thing to try to almost nitpick the number of times it is to employed before it's successful. This is what the release of these memos has done. We are now reduced to being armchair interrogators. Most all of the former CIA members I've heard talking about this have said the hard interrogation tactics worked. That's really where the line is drawn on that level. The cutting into the knees of our CIA professionals possibly puts rendition practices as a means of obtaining intelligence back online as a serious alternative. I looked around for instances in the past of any other country's leader willingly doing something like Obama has just done, deliberately making thier country weaker and more vulnerable by willingly exposing information vital to the safety of thier homeland. I can't find anything like it. Ultimately Obama has reduced the effectiveness of CIA interrogations, reduced the fear of our enemies over what might happen to them if they are caught, he has embarrassed our nation yet again with this sort of tabloid expose whch falls in line so nicely with his great apology tour of Europe and South America. Obama is wearing thin and has become one of the most divisive Presidents in US history. Now with President Obama's instigation of this episode we have the spectre being raised by the Obama Justice Department, and now Obama himself not ruling it out, of the possibilty of a war-crimes style investigation of everyone or anyone involved from the Bush administraton in making decisions to use harsh interrogation on captive terror combatants such as sleep deprivation, waterboarding, stress positions, and so on. This is nonsense. Ever since the impeachment trial of President Clinton, the left wing activists and hate mongers have been itching to get some sort of revenge on Republicans for that. If this goes forward, if a show trial investigation of President Bush and his staff or administration is actually instigated, this will be nothing more than a childish temper tantrum from the left out of pure hateful vengeance and nothing to do with any love of the Constitution and freedom. It will spell doom for the Democrats in the next election cycle, as if they haven't already made clowns of themselves in the past 90 days.

TOILET PAPER TYRANNY

I've never heard Obama sound so negative on the future and economy and then spin his own agenda as being so positive, such a dichotomy of contradictive statements, as he did in his most recent speech.  Is this the hope and change he campaigned on?

Regarding the real effect of government intervention, this is why we are seeing grass roots tea parties all around the country today.  I'm heartened by the idea of these rallies, but at the same time I'm concerned that they may not get the attention they deserve. The only real effect these tea parties will have is if they can inspire and rally more and more citizens to the cause of pushing back the grip that the Obama administration has put on our private enterprise and economic freedom.  In no way will these wonderful , inspired rallies turn Obama, Frank, Pelosi, Reid, Dodd et-al into a fiscally conservative bunch. The exercise of freedom of the press and to demonstrate and protest and to exercise freedom of association and also to celebrate the real meaning of freedom are meant to give those who feel helpless against what's happening in our federal government a voice with which to be heard, and a call to arms of a sort. The liberal press will not stop being liberal, and the spinning at CNN , NBC, and all the left lurching media will be in full bloom in the face of these gatherings, but this is a foundational war. It's a war to save our way of life from being destroyed by a terrible mistake made by..., us...., by our nation... in electing a terrible representative of the people. President Obama does not reflect our country's ideals, foundational principles or love of freedom. With his fascist agenda of government intervention in every aspect of our lives, and his hatered of free enterprise and his loathing of those who have succeeded and reaped the rewards of wealth that freedom can bring, and his congress of yes-men who genuflect to his altar of tyranny, he is bent on using the Constitution of our country as his personal roll of toilet paper while wagging his finger in disgust at those of us who he thinks are too ignorant to understand his great schemes of reshaping the country in his image. Our founding documents are not waste material to be thrown into a recycling bin and remade into something else. If the President does not respect every page and word of the Constitution he has sworn to defend, then his word and his promise means nothing at all.

TRAGIC - MORE PRIDE IN PARLIAMENT THAN IN CONGRESS?

Two days ago European Parliament member Daniel Hannan openly and eloquently and forcefully berated British Prime Minister Grodon Brown. Here are some quotes from his 3 minute speech while they were at a meeting 2 days ago during a session of Parliament in Strasbourg France....,

"The truth, Prime Minister, is that you have run out of our money.  The country as a whole is now in negative equity.  Every British child is born owing around 20,000 pounds.  Servicing the interest on that debt is going to cost more than educating the child.  Now, it's not that you're not apologizing.  Like everyone else I've long accepted that you're pathologically incapable of accepting responsibility for these things.  It's that you're carrying on willfully, worsening our situation, wantonly spending what little we have left.  Last year, in the last 12 months, a hundred thousand private sector jobs have been lost, and yet you've created 30,000 public sector jobs.  Prime Minister, you cannot carry on forever squeezing the productive bit of the economy in order to fund an unprecedented engorgement of the unproductive bit." "You cannot spend your way out of recession or borrow your way out of debt.  And when you repeat in that wooden and perfunctory way that our situation is better than others, that we're well placed to weather the storm, I have to tell you, you sound like a Brezhnev era apparatchik giving the party line.  You know and we know, and you know that we know that it's nonsense!  Everyone knows that Britain is worse off than any other country as we go into these hard times.  The IMF has said so.  The European Commission has said so.  The markets have said so, which is why our currency has devalued by 30%, and soon the voters, too, will get their chance to say so.  They can see what the markets have already seen, that you are the devalued prime minister of a devalued government."

Now, I hate to say this, and I should be ashamed to admit this as a proud United States citizen, but I am more proud of that member of the European Parliament who stood up in front of the whole world and berated the British Prime Minister eloquently, forcefully and with clear rational language defending freedom and free market enterprise BETTER... that's right... BETTER and with more COURAGE than almost anyone in our congress or in our national press media has had the will power to do to President Obama and his cohorts, those who need that same exact berating before a national audience.., so that we can all see what Obama's response would be.  Would he just laugh it off like Gordon Brown did to Daniel Hannan?  Like Obama did in Leno? Or would he reply with his own eloquent defense of his budget, Ominbus, TARP, etc...?  I don't think Obama can logically or rationally defend all the spending he has signed into law and permitted to be spent. If that same memeber of the European Parliament who heroically stood up and defended AMERICAN market values and freedom... ( yes... he defended OUR homegrown market oriented values even though he was making the case for his own country I felt as if he were speaking for us as well..,)  if he stood up at an Obama press conference and said exactly the same thing to Obama..., I can tell you right now there would be cheers and applause thundering through this nation for that brave guy.  Isn't it rather sad that the type of hero we need in our government seems only to be found in a foreign governemnt... a governemnt ( by the way..) that Obama doesn't think the US has any special relationship with?  I'll tell you what, remember during the campaign McCain saying that there is no time for on the job training when it comes to being President? Look at the strain the Obama administration has managed to put on relationships with our own allies since he took office. I suppose it counts as "change" , ( though not for the better...), so where is the "hope' he promised? He seems to have thrown all hope out the window with massive rising debts that will be saddled with our children for generations. I would rather have that European Parliamentarian Daniel Hannan as our President than Barack Obama. At least Hannan understands economics and how not to add burden to a troubled economy. Now I want to also acknowledge a brave soul in our own government, Representative Michelle Bachmann of the House Financial Services Committee, who pressed Geithner to show her where in the United States Constitution the Treasury has the authority to take control of failing banks and seize private businesses that it feels are on the verge of failure, as he wants the power to do.  Geithner's answer was that it's constitutional because congress voted for it and the President signed it, which of course does not necessarily make a law nor the power granted by that law constitutional, it only points out that the "processes" of congress and the President are constitutional, not the resulting law.Geithner and Obama and Pelosi and Frank are pushing for the biggest takeover and intrusion by them into our country's privacy rights and private businesses in our nation's history.  This administration is pushing us down the drain into a black hole that will bankrupt us in less than a decade.

JUST GO AWAY....

If you are angry about the bonuses paid to AIG executives, then go away and read something else. What follows here is not for you. If you pump your fist and say "yeah!" when you hear Barney Frank, or Nancy Pelosi or Harry Ried or Barack Obama rant like whining little brats about how unfair and greedy private business is, then please just ignore this and go back to drinking your unemployment checks or smoking your welfare payments. You are beyond help. Let's pause for a moment and try to understand why anyone cares about the word "bonus" and how it relates particularly to AIG.  "Bonus" is a great word for demagogues to beat on with thier ugly sticks. When you hear the word "Bonus" it has the implication of something "extra" given to someone for performance above and beyond the call of duty. But, in the world of business, which a lot of people are not savvy to... it can mean a lot of different things. Instead of the word bonus, let's substitute the words tax payment. With AIG, it is basically the same thing. Salaries there are being met with the help of your tax money. A lot of people don't like that to begin with. I'm one of those people. But  in a practical sense what exactly is our tax money enabling AIG to do?  Our tax money is, among other things, enabling AIG to secure the insurance policies of businesses all around the country and the world, so that they can cover thier potential liabilities and function and provide services to you and me. To some degree a rather useful purpose. But, I wasn't asked if I thought AIG's crumbling finances should be propped up with the money that comes out of my paycheck. No one was asked that. So let's turn the video camera away from the smooth glass and steel tower of AIG that so often has been featured in the news media for a moment, and pan across the United States congress. Let's pan way, way back to a point where the entire floor of the House of Representatives is in view. Now let's do a split screen.  Another camera in the Senate is now panned way back to show you the entire Senate floor on the right side of your screen. And let's have a rolling tag line under the image keeps us updated on what the President is doing. There, in those two bodies of legislature and in the executive office, are the biggest, boldest, most outrageous peddlers of deciet and treachery this country has ever faced. And they have all gotten bonuses, every last one of them, from your tax money. But they don't want you to know that.  They would rather have you angry at AIG executives, because it takes your attention away from the hideous, overstuffed bonuses all those Representatives and Senators in congress have stolen from you. Earlier while talking about AIG I said, lets substitute the words "tax payment" for the word bonus.  Now, lets substitute the word "Earmark" for the word bonus. Same thing, but far, far more insidious. The executives at AIG who recieved salaried bonuses covered by tax payments had a contractual agreement to recive that specific amount of money as compensation for doing specific work.  But your state Senator, your state Representative... makes no such deal with you.  They take thier bonus money from your paycheck without restraint, without asking your permission, without the requirement of performing specific tasks in return for it, without having to explain it to you, without having to ever acknowledge that they took it. In fact sometimes we don't find out till much, much later exactly how much bonus money they took for themselves in form of earmarks, and exactly what they spent it on, because they try to hide it, bury it deep..., deep inside of innocent looking bills, like pirates burying thier stolen treasure in a deep hole on some deserted island hoping to keep it from  prying eyes. But what happened recently?  You started noticing.  You started catching these pirates stealing your money and burying it away for themselves. And that made you mad. Pirates don't like angry mobs. Angry mobs scare them because an angry mob might decide that they don't want these pirates around any more and might kick them off thier ship. So what did these pirates who stole bonuses for themselves in the form of secret earmarks do?  They formulated a plan to divert attention from thier thieving ways. They gave away your money to a legitimate business that was failing , to make themselves seem like good guys, like the mafia boss who gives a little of his ill gotten blood money back to the poor people in his neighborhood to make himself seem like a hero. And these pirates made you hate the legitimate business for using the money they gave them to save them. They played you. Obama's trying to pull off a mock triangulation routine but it's not going to work. He can't put himself above a fray that he created. He was out there the other day berating congress and saying he's just trying to fix problems he inhereted. Obama has two stage props that he uses wherever he goes. The Teleprompter and the Bush Administration. That way nothing is his fault, and he doesn't have to remember anything he wants to say. You notice how perturbed Obama gets when a press corp memeber tries to ask him a tough question? Obama is like an infant. He's a little toddler that all the adults think is cute and adorable and who fusses and wets his diaper anytime he's given the least little pressure from anyone in media. His teleprompter is his security blanket, our taxes are his pacifier, Pelosi is his mommy, Reid is his daddy, and Barney Frank is is strange cousin from Boston. I have not seen any signs of real leadership from Obama. His brain was injected with the folly of liberal hate throughout his formative years and we now have a liberal infant filled with hate for wealth and an attitude clearly... very very clearly ... in which he feels that he is a superior bieng to anyone who has personal wealth, which he currently defines as anyone netting over 250K. He is the essence of untaintable purity in his own mind and he is bent on cleansing the infection of wealthiness from our society. He believes there is integrity in the failure to achieve, purity in poverty, and that the only "good" folks are those who are forever struggling to make ends meet. But if you make it, he'll take it. If you achieve, he'll relieve you of your money. Looks like his poll numbers are slipping, so it's off to have a few laughs with Leno and tour the country like a one man stand up comedy act or the Michael Jackson of politics trying to redeem his image by standing around for press cameras in some cool shades and blowing kisses to the crowds.  This is our President? Do we really need this? Sheesh.

OBAMA - ECONOMIC TERRORIST

People can, and often do, try to perpare themselves for potential disaster. When you're sitting in an airplane and the captain tells you to brace for impact, you do what you can.  You make sure you know where that flotation device is, you grip the arms of the seat, you pray... but the ground is coming up fast and you know there's nothing at all you can do to stop it. You just hold on tight and pray you survive. When Obama won the election, I knew what was coming.  You knew what was coming..., most of us who are Conservatives and politically aware , knew what was coming.  But to actually SEE it, to see the speed of that impact racing up to hit us in the face as it's doing right now... is just stunning.  It's devastating and heartbreaking. Obama is the plane crash we knew was coming, but the impact is no less powerful or disheartening because of that fore-knowledge. The Stimulus bill passing into law was like getting that announcement from the captain to brace for impact.  The 4 trillion dollar budget is like the point of impact, when the nose of the plane plunges into the tarmack, and the screams of the passengers are hard to hear over the sound of twisting metal and exploding fuel tanks. And it's only been a few months. To actually see the nightmare scenario of the stinking carcass of socialism and central planning rise up like a great tsunami with its shadow falling across the country, flush with life from an infusion of our taxes, is like somthing from a steven king horror movie.   We have to make progress in turning this beast around at the next mid-term election cycle, or it will bury us for generations. Obama is the only plane crash that has a cheering section. The liberals are toasting this plane crash and it just makes me sick to see it happening. Because he has a rubber-stamp Democrat majority, Obama basically has a free hand to destroy our way of life in a way that the terrorist enemies of our country can only dream of. And we can't stop him, except by voting him out when the time comes, or maybe weakening the numbers of congressional democrats at the next mid-term. Obama has proven..., that he will destroy our economy in the name of maintaining Democrat power, and his own power, if that's what it takes.

I heard Bob Shrum ( Democrat political consultant) today on the fox show Brian And The Judge say "the people don't care about the pork ( in the upcoming ominbus spending bill). It's trivial.". I was of course outraged that he would dare to say that. But this is the genuine attitude of these socialists. That in itself was a teachable moment to anyone who heard it. There are radical liberals who think that the masses want all this insane spending and don't care what it's being spent on. Shrum actually was trying to defend money for earmarks such as tattoo removal, and swine odor management. His argument..."hey, these things need funding , and they're important to someone...", and again he said "the people don't care about this.". Amazing. And I'm sure you heard Obama putting the screws to Bush as the goat for his liberal agenda. Obama and all his cohorts are going to blame Bush throughout this Presdiency as the scapegoat for anything they want to do. Obama is a coward, he doesn't have the testicular fortitude to stand up and admit this has always been what he wanted to do and that he would have done it regardless of Bush. Wouldn't it be nice to have a Conservative president articulating Conservatism..., rather than a phoney baloney radcial socialist hiding behind a thin veneer of Conservative language as he sells his goals of central planning? It just continues to emphasize the dysfunctional nature of liberalism, that it has to hide behind a Conservative couch for fear of being exposed. It is cowardly, menacing, decietful, you name it. It's disgusting.

AN EXPOSED BOOB

Barney Frank was grilling CEO's yesterday at the congressional class warfare barbecue. Hearing his tax-fattened jowls mumble and babble about what he thinks top executive pay in private companies should be was sickening. Listening to Barney Frank talk is like listening to cow flatulence. Al Gore should be putting cork in frank's mouth to keep him from contributing to global warming. I swear that gas bag could power a fleet of dirigibles on a world wide journey with one exhale of his breath while he berates CEO's for taking bonuses. That fool is working hard to get people to forget his role in the Freddie Mac / Fannie Mae debacle by pretending to be a hero as he plays class warfare games. How we can be so ignorant in my home state as to re-elect that blathering  boob to office over and over is beyond my comprehension. Barney Frank needs to buy a bra for his mouth, because he is definitely an over exposed boob.

OBAMA CLAUS IS COMING TO TOWN

Obama Claus is coming to town..., have you been good little boys and girls?  Well then, step right up and sit in his lap and ask Obama Claus for whatever your heart desires.  After all, that's what the President of the United States has transformed into behind the mask of Barack Obama, a gift giving entity who pulls money out of seemingly thin air. Except that this version of Saint Nicholas has far worse in store for you than a lump of coal in your stocking if you're not a good little brainless liberal and don't follow his plan for world peace and economic happiness. Obama Claus has been circling above the country in his magic tax-powered sleigh pulled by bloated egomaniacs .. "on Nancy ,on Barney, on Barbara and Harry...., "... and has been declaring from the top of his lungs... “A failure to act, and act now ( meaning a failure to pass his grease pit of a plan to socialize the country with massive liberal welfare and confiscation of private industry), will turn crisis into a catastrophe and guarantee a longer recession, a less robust recovery, and a more uncertain future.". He goes on to say "... I can tell you with complete confidence that a failure to act will only deepen this crisis as well as the pain felt by millions of Americans. the U.S. faces a profound economic emergency".  Gosh, is this how Obama spreads a message of  Hope and Change to the country?  Obama Claus managed to get the cooperation of three liberal ( RINO ) Republicans in the senate to close off debate on the Senate version of the grease pit bill.  Senators Arlen Specter, Olympia Snowe and Susan Collins got into thier pajamas and slid under the soiled bedsheets with all 58 Democrats on the procedural motion cheering on socialism for the country with a vote of 61 - 38 to smack down any delaying tactics by the Republican conservatives. Obama Claus is determined to give us gifts from his magic sack of tax gold whether we want them or not, all with the end result of making our "economy" ( does he even know what that is..? ) better.  Here's some of the ways Obama Claus is going to use this grease pit bill to ease the suffering of those who are being laid off... with a 50 million dollar injection to the Endowment For the Arts..., 650 million dollars for digital TV coupons, 150 million dollars for the Smithsonian Institution..., 1 billion dollars for the Census bureau ....4.2 billion for "community organizers" such as ACORN... , 400 million for global-warming research...yes... if you are now scratching your heads as to what this does to put Joe The Plumber back in his job, you're not alone. Obama Claus calls it a stimulus package, but what it is in reality is... well... it's in part a tax funded payoff to all of the liberal thugs and kneecappers who pumped up Obama during his campaign and in part an attempt to hide tax funding for government programs that might have otherwise had to face debate on thier own. Sadly for Obama Claus, people are beginning to catch on, and a rising wave of anger over the stinking pile of gut wrenching grease filling this bill is taking hold in the offices of elected officials. Hey... Obama Claus...YOU CAN'T PUT LIPSTICK ON A PIG. Remember that one? This stimulus bill is the biggest pig ever to roll out of DC.  Obama is not only putting lipstick on this stimulus package, he's also putting a ballroom gown, glass slippers and a wig on it and is taking it out to dinner. Any Republican who supports this package should be ashamed. The House Republicans did the right thing by unifying against it. They need to stay strong. While there's no doubt that we are in the midst of a cultural/political war for the salvation of our free market economy, I still find myself immensely amused at the precariously balanced agenda of the Obama administration. Everything that he has instigated since taking office is leading to a showdown. He's building up a tower of socialism on styrofoam pillars and simply has no ability to hide what he's doing except by distracting people with populist class warfare. I sincerely believe he will turn out to be one of the worst Presidents our country has ever had to endure.

REPUBLICANS CAN WIN BACK POWER - STARTING NOW!

The political party that STOPS the federal government's dangerous slide into the centuries of debilitating debt that this horribly dangerous approach to solving economic problems with various industries is taking, will rise to Power in the next election cycle. The congress has grown into a sickening entity of socialism, resolving to give away hundreds of billions of dollars of "our" money to companies who they randomly decide are worthy of getting our redistributed wealth, and now.. is taking ownership of stock in banks.  Paulson should be fired, forced to resign immediately for abusing the power of the treasury and using billions of taxpayer funds to buy stock in banks, basically committing fraud by using the bailout money for something other than for what it was intended. . Barney Frank and Nancy Pelosi should be the target of a special prosecutor for thier role in stopping reforms that might have prevented the mortgage crisis. The Republicans need to fold thier arms and say NO MORE.  Every Republican Senator, every Republican Representative needs to stand shoulder-to-shoulder and vote no on every spending proposal, every spending bill that is a bailout of any industry, any company. Let the Democrats fall flat on thier faces under the anger of the public as they prepare to give away ever more billions of dollars to any struggling company that can call itself a bank, including GM and now American Express. let's see if the Democrats like Pelosi who are salivating like kids in a candy store at all the money they can now play with because an Obama presidency will rubber stamp thier social agendas have the guts to take the heat all by themselves for subsidizing all these businesses with taxpayer funds.  To every bailout , every giveaway proposal raised by Democrats Republicans should counter with a plan to cut taxes and refuse any plan from the Democrats that calls for using tax money to shore-up weak businesses.

WORKING WITH REPUBLICANS

Supporters of Obama like to say that he is a uniter, he will listen to good ideas even from Republicans. In 2006 when Democrats gained control of both houses of congress Pelosi said "We will work with Republicans in Congress ", and then proceeded to be the most partisan yellow dog Democrat on Capitol Hill shutting Republicans out of all decision making except when she wanted cover for hyper partisan liberal legislation. She lied, blatanly, and badly. For example, when the Democrats formed a resolution to denounce President Bush for sending 20 thousand more troops to Iraq to commit to the "surge", Pelosi refused to allow Republicans to submit an alternative resolution.  ( 17 Republicans voted in favor of the resolution, the rest voted agains it). And I'm sure everyone still remebers the debacle over Pelosi refusing to allow republicans to have an up or down vote on expanding oil drilling on the coasts when gas was over 4 dollars a gallon nationally. . Now, I don't expect Obama, Pelosi, Reid, Frank, et al... to work with Republicans.  They never have, never will. The only time Democrats are willing to listen to Republicans is when Republicans agree with them. Like McCain did on many occassions. But the bold lies and hypocrisy of Democrats suggesting they will work with Republicans, is remarkable. When pompous donkeys like Obama and Pelosi say they will listen to Republicans..., they say it in the maner of seeing themselves as Gods listening to the feeble wrthings of a bunch of worms. They feel then can "afford" to sound graciuous.., while stepping on the throats of any opposition, because they now hold all the power. They will listen to Republicans like a parent listening to a petulant child and treat them like bratty babies. I hope the Republicans do not try to get along with them. I hope a leader emerges who will fold his arms against his chest ( or hers) and say NO, when the Democrats want a Bi-Partisan vote with Republicans to cover thier sorry butts over a pieces of liberal Democrat legislation that most Americans will hate. We need a leader who will no longer give in to the Democrats on a bailout bill type of debacle. What I'm finding hilarious today is listening to pundits saying that Obama needs to hold a press conference where he tamps down on expectations, reduces excitement, calms down the hyper partisans who think he's going to pay for thier gas and thier food and fill thier pockets with money.  In other words they say he needs to pull back on  his goal to "spread the wealth". Then there was the comments by Poet Maya Angelou a few days after Obama won regarding what Obama winning means for the country.., where she said she realized that the United States was finally "growing up."  So , like Michelle Obama, finally Maya is finally proud the country.  Wow. That sure puts my mind at ease.  And now, finally, there is talk in congress of passing a "Fairness Doctrine" bill.  The original "Fairness Doctrine" policy passed by congress in 1949 was eventually discarded by the FCC in 1987 because it didn't do what it was intended for, it required broadcasters to "afford reasonable opportunity for the discussion of conflicting views of public importance."  Instead, broadcasters avoided any controversial discussions, and the policy ended up hindering freedom of the press.  This should be something that no one wants.
